backing up and restoring

Post by Knox Goderich »

I have noticed that you can back up the accounting files.
How do you just restore the accounting files without over riding membership files?

Currently I am the treasurer so I take paper work home and do the accounting on my laptop however when I backup and restore at the church, I over ride any changes that the secretary has done

Any Suggustions

Thanks
Deb

If you do a backup of the ACCOUNTING files, all that does is restore ACCOUNTING. It does not touch anything else. It sounds like you're doing a FULL backup, and you should be doing a selective backup only. Just select ACCOUNTING from the list that is displayed.
