check layout set up

Post by ross »

I am still missing something in preparing a custom check layout to fit the check we have in inventory.

I reset the settings, but it is still printing the same check 3 times like I am using voucher checks.

I need to print e different checks on one page.

Thank you!

After clicking reset layout, it has you select an existing layout and then click OK. Now you need to click Edit Layout and go into the report designer and rearrange your check to fit your needs.

Once in the report designer that is similar to a Custom Report.

custom checks

Post by ross »

Thank you for responding so quickly.
I followed the procedures and the format fits my check design.
But, when actually printing checks, it still prints the first one fine, but the second two on the same page are duplicate to the first.
Will Power Church not allow any check design but voucher??

When you get into the report designer you need to delete the check stub blocks so the only thing showing is one check. Then down at the bottom is grey line called Detail, simply slide that up so the detail line is right below the check, if you are looking at the ruler on the left it should be around the 3inch mark. Now when you print checks it will print one check every 3 inches, or however you adjusted it.

The only problem is when you have a check sheet and you need to start on the second check on the page, that is not something that is going to be possible without readjusting the custom check layout.

Hope it helps!
