Hi all.. I've recently upgraded to PC9 from PC8 and have some comments/observations/suggestions:

• - Chart of accounts "Locate Accounts" -- I really dislike the new chart of accounts "Locate Account" function.. I guess I really have a hard time finding things when I don't see the entire account number on the leftmost column. It's probably ok for single account holders, but I've got 6 accounts and end up with things 6 of everything and not knowing which is which without walking through each one.. Can we at least allow the entire account number to be viewed instead of a subset?
  
  - Why is there a "posting" report? I liked the old way of just having a window that showed the summary -- that is now gone with this new scheme that only allows this to be printed.. Seems less flexible to me.
  
  - A UI nit.. Many of the pop-up windows allow resizing but don't really allow it.. If you hover your cursor over the side borders, you'll get the indicator showing that you can stretch the windows wider, but you can't actually do it -- nothing happens.. (try the Fund Accounting Reports pop-up).
  
  - Thanks for now allowing repeating transactions that can be tagged as such when entering plain-old transactions whether it be a deposit or some sort of withdrawal.
  
  - Thanks for allowing no SS# on printed payroll checks -- this is a problem for us since I want to make sure nobody's personal info is lost as part of payroll check stubs.
  
  - Reconciling is easier than before I think, but takes a bit getting used to after using the old way for so long.

That window does size, there is no reason for it to size left to right, but it will size up and down. Grab the bottom and pull down and you will be able to see more reports. By default that dialog will take 80% of the height of your screen or enough room to display all the reports in that module, whichever is smaller. We did this so people that have bigger screen can see more of the available reports without having to scroll the list.

I've got a few more suggestions after using PC9 a bit longer...

1) In the enter transactions window -- for repeating transactions, it would be nice (particularly for multiple line transactions) to have the ability to specify $$ amounts in a pop-up text box or similar so I don't have to modify the values on 2 or 4 lines on the transaction (in my case anyway).. Ideally, I think it would be best to have repeating transactions that don't specifically have memorized amounts as part of them, but forces the user to specify that when the repeat is used. (hopefully this makes sense). That could be some sort of checkbox as an option for each repeating item.

2) In the Posting Date box, you should be able to pull up the calendar like you can elsewhere within PC9 -- right now I go and pull up the Windows calendar for certain things..
