I learned this week through one of our employees that the IRS did not receive the W2s and W3 for 2020 I mailed in January 2021. He received a letter from the IRS letting him know that was why he has still not received his 2020 tax refund. The IRS instructed him to have me resend them. I originally printed them from PCP on preprinted forms as we did not have the V12 upgrade at that point to print on plain paper. I do not have enough extra 2020 W2 Forms to reprint for all employees. Is there any way for me to reprint the 2020 W2s on plain paper instead of on the preprinted forms since we are now on V12.2? I've tried calling several IRS numbers today to track the preprinted forms down and am currently on hold to speak with yet another person, but not having any success.

Thanks for your help!
I don't believe it will print 2020 forms on plain paper ... as the latest MR (if you installed it back in December) updated the program to handle 2021 forms W2 & W3, and once that happens, it won't process any earlier forms for plain paper only the preprinted ones. You may want to call Powerchurch directly to see if they can assist you.
That said ... you don't mail the W2s and W3s to the IRS, but to the Social Security Administration. If they didn't receive them, you MAY be able to enter them via the Social Security Administration's online entry system. I'm not sure but you can inquire.
