Statement of Cash Flows

Post by curt125 »

I have found little on this topic here. I cannot understand why there is no such report as part of the accounting software. This is a report required by GAAP and is provided by all other software I have ever used or seen.
Am I missing something?

Yes ... other accounting packages do not understand church Fund Accounting in the way most churches do it. Not to mention, I believe churches are not required to operate under full GAAP accounting procedures.

That said, the Check Register by Fund report used to be called the 'Cash Flow' report. It was renamed as 'Cash Flow' confused many of the volunteer church treasurers who use Powerchurch.
