Alphabetize Repeated Transactions

Is there a way to alphabetize my repeated transactions within a second field? For example I have checks, journal entries, transfers, etc. - but within each of these I have checks for specific items or journal entries for specific items. I would like to be able to alphebetize all checks within the checks, etc.

I'm not sure what you're getting at, but you can use the 'Locate' display and click on the column header to sort the list. If you want, you can setup the 'Reference' in the way you want (alphabetized, adding a number in front of the reference IE: 001-Check to someone), then clicking on that column in the display it will sort either high to low (1 to 10, a to z) or vice versa.
