"View Posted Transactions" empty!

Just recently I tried to View Posted Transactions in Fund Accounting. This had been working fine, I could see all of the posted transactions; but this time the screen was completely empty! I can run transaction reports that show the posted transactions, but can't see them in View Posted Transactions.
We have ver. 9 and WinXP Pro on networked computers. Has anyone else had this happen? I searched the forum and didn't find any references. One thing - I reindexed from a client computer. Could that cause this odd circumstance?
I really want to close the last month of the fiscal year, but don't dare to under the circumstances.

Try clicking the Filter button, make sure that it isn't just showing you the new fiscal year, where nothing has been posted yet.

That was it! Thanks so much! I knew I hadn't applied a filter, and didn't realize the program might do so automatically, so I never checked that. It's a sensible default - there would be information overload, otherwise.
