OK ... 'added a new fund to an account?' .. I'm going to assume that you have an existing account, say 01-4010-000 for income, and you added it to a new Accounting Fund 02 so you now have 02-4010-000 ??

If that's not what you did, please define what you mean by 'fund' and how did you add it to an existing account?

What I am trying to do is add an acct to "Kids for Christ" fund, so I added 400-5002 "Feed One", which shows up in that fund. Then I added fund 21 but it does not show up when I am entering contributions in the contribution module. The only option I have is 05 "Kids for Christ" nothing there for 21 Feed one. Needless to say I sometimes get confused between Accounts and Funds.

Contribution Funds, and Accounting Funds are two different things.

In Funds Accounting:
what is the actual fund account number for the Accounting Fund "Kids for Christ" is it 400???
If so, then the account should be 400-5002-000, is that right? The 5000 series is an EXPENSE account number series, unless you have changed that to extend the income account number range. 4000 series number are the default income accounts.

In Contributions:
Did you create a new Contribution Fund for Feed One under Contributions -> Setup -> Maintain List of Contribution Funds. When you do that, under the ACCOUNTING tab when you add the fund, you will be asked for the DEBIT (Bank) account, and the CREDIT (Income) account.

I suspect that there's some things you have to adjust before you can finish this up.

Kid's for Christ fund is 05 so 05-4005-002 for "Feed One" I have 05-4005-001 for BGMC so when I am adding contributions for BGMC in the contribution module I click on # 14 to show that contribution is for BGMC. But I do not have #21 to click on for Feed One. There is not an option for #21 Feed One. I have 055005006 for Feed One expense and that works fine. I just don't have an option (21) to show contributions.

You have to add a CONTRIBUTION FUND .. Contributions -> Setup -> Maintain List of Contribution Funds ... please check the User Manual under Contributions for specific instructions
