PC balance differs from bank balance

We know we have a problem, but haven't figured out how to fix it yet. In the meantime we need to write a check that exceeds the Power Church balance by $13.07. We know there is enough $$ in the bank account to cover the check. When we go to write the check in Power Church, will it allow us to do that even though it thinks we don't have enough to cover the check?

Are you sure you have a problem? What were the results of the last reconciliation? Was the 'to balance' amount equal to ZERO. Have all checks cleared the bank? If no, you don't have enough in the bank. If they have, are there deposits that have not been entered? Have all Contributions been posted?
As far as writing the check, Powerchurch will no prevent you from doing so.
