Adding asset.

I have been using PC Plus v9 for several months. I used the Set Up program to begin, but was not confident enough to add our church property as an asset. Now, I would like to do so, but can't determine how to add a beginning balance to an asset account. Would appreciate some incite into this.

Balances can only be added by a journal entry at this point.

Debit the asset, Credit the equity (or Fund Balance, or Net Assets)
