Payroll Correction

I paid our Sexton the wrong number of hours this week. I haven't posted payroll yet. Is there a way of deleting his incorrect paycheck and they re-running just his paycheck, without messing up everything else that's unposted?

Yes, you can delete that unposted Payroll entry by going to Accounting > Payroll > Modify Unposted Payroll. Use the Locate button to bring up the check in question and then click Delete at the top of the screen. It will ask if you want to delete only this check or the whole run.

When you go back to Accounting > Payroll > Process Payroll, it shows you a list of employees to choose from in the second step. You can uncheck everyone but the Sexton and process only that one check.
