I'm interested in where people order your checks from? This church has always used hand written checks, and it's taking HOURS to write these out by hand. It's time to move to printing checks in the laser printer. So I'd like to hear about where all you experienced users have found the best prices/quality on your checks.

FWIW ... Powerchurch has a page that shows various check formats, and a link to a company that provides checks compatable with PC+:

At my last location, the treasurer there had been using Quicken, and buying checks through Intuit. I had to go and modify the check format to create a custom format to adjust for the differences.

We have gone to bill payer for most of our normal checks, to business and mission groups. Saves a lot of time, once set up, and check expense.

We use McBee. We use a three part check with the check in tghe middle and a stub top and bottom. I have considered going to e-bill pay as brucet7 has but have not made the move yet. I can see a reduction in expense with this method bot in checks and postage.

At our former church, the Treasurer did all the billpaying via the bank's online system, just creating the payments in Powerchurch as 'manual checks'.

As far as the check you currently use, according to that link I listed above, your checks should work with PC+.
