Check Number Off

When my printer jams while printing payroll, it will automatically resume printing and therefore, all my check numbers are off from that point on. How do I fix these check number that are off? I don't need to reprint any of the checks, just get them to show the correct number in the system. Once this is accomplished, I go in and void the checks that were ruined during the jam.

Go into Manual/Void check in Payroll. Do a reversal with the incorrect check number and then do a manual check with the correct check number.
