Is there any way to keep the computer from printing the check numbers on the check when they are printed? The checks already have the number on them.
Thank you

If you go to your custom check layout you should find a field there named ALLTRIM(CheckNo). If you remove this field the check number will no longer print on the check. I personally like it on the stub because it is a verification that I put in the the correct number when I printed the check.

My custom form only prints the check number on the check, not the stub. I would like it better on the stub as Thorgal points out. How do you add the check number to the stub, at least the botton stub in the top-check-two-stub form? I have not worked with this editor before.

You can click and drag that ALLTRIM(CHECKNO) field from the check onto the stub. If you want it to print on both, you can copy and paste the field onto the second stub.

We find having the cheque number print out on the cheque a good feature. It helps us to make sure the number on the cheque matches the number in the system (it's easy to type in the cheque number wrong). If you take it off the cheque itself, it is a good idea to have it print on the stub instead so that you still have this way of making sure you did it right :)!
