can i reopen a closed month. i am new to the program and have messed up jan '08 and thought if i closed and then deleted the transactions then i could maybe reconcile. also, the deposits/contributions are okay, i don't want to loose them.

Hopefully you made a backup before closing out the month. If so, just restore to that.
