Sharing accounting data on two computers

Post by dcc »

Our church has grown and now we have an Assistant Treasurer. Both he and the Treasurer work at their homes. Both computers have PowerChurch Plus, same version. What is the best way for the Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer to share data changes and input so any changes made to the data is the same on both computers? :?:

Thank you,
Myra Z.

There is no good way in this case. They would be sending backup files back and forth and there's always a chance that changes made on one computer would be overwritten by another backup, etc.

At my last church we had the Treasurer and Assistant access the church computer network from home using GoToMyPC. Now that Powerchurch has an Online program you may want to think about using this instead of a locally hosted version.

Here's more info on Powerchurch Online: http://www.powerchurch.com/features/online.php

Using PC+ since 1999.
