On Jan. 2, '08 with Nov '07 open I posted a Nov '07 check resulting in a check register error. My check register is now off by the amount of the check, and the check is not listed on the register. Is there a way to correct this? Account 1110 balances with bank.

Check the date of that particular transaction. Most likely the year is something like 0007, 0720, or maybe it was entered for a November 2008 date.

If this is the case, just void the check and reenter it with the proper date.
