current information on back dated reports

Hi there,

I am having a problem with the report functions in PC V9. If I run a Balance Sheet report and date it to a previous date, I still get the checking account balance as of today's date. Why can't I get information pertaining to a previous date that excludes what is after that date?

The balance sheet in version 9 will allow you to define a month ending. This will be in the format of Month, Year (such as January 2008).

Is this where you are changing it?

Yes that is what I am doing. The specific accounts that are a problem are the cash accounts, they always reflect the current activity on the account - not the balance as of the date I enter.
