I have set up a church using PC on line but didn't use the set up offered. There were some issues that caused me to need to do it manually. Because of that I don't know how to enter the outstanding checks. I keep trying to think it thru but decided to give up and ask for help.

These checks were written in 2008 - there are only about 5 but if they aren't in the system I won't be able to reconcile bank statement at end of Jan. How can I do this?

Your bank rec will be off by the amount of the checks until they clear. If all is well they will clear in the first month and you won't have anything to worry about.
