Would someone know how to go about retreiving the computer generated closing entry for a year-end?

My closing balance for Year-end does not match the beginning balance for the new year?!?!?!?

If you have a backup where December is open, restore that backup (after making a backup of your current month).

Then run an account activity on your equity accounts. In the left-hand column, you will see [System Generated] on items that will post when you close the month.
