Hello,

I'd like to help - but will need more detail regarding what you are attempting to do. Are you adding a new asset account to an existing accounting fund (i.e., 1XXX savings)? Or do you want to add a new self-balancing accounting fund and then add an asset account to that new fund (i.e., Fund 01 General Operating, Fund 05 Building Fund)?

You wrote - "I have already tried to add but it does not recognize the account #'s" Maybe you can step me through what you attempted to do/how you determined that PC+ wasn't recognizing the new account.

Peace,

Thank you for responding but I have gotten it figured out. but in the meantime, we have recently purchased two 52 inch tv's for our sanctuary and I would like to add them to the equipment inventory, can you walk me through the process. Thank you Sandi Wilbanks.

Sandy,

this question should really go under the Record Keeping forum, but the process of adding this to the inventory is very simple and straightforward.

If you don't have any categories setup under Equipment Inventory, first create one. There is a built in category of Audio/Visual that you can use, just select that, and click on Save.

Once that is done, you can add new items. Click on Add Item, then a new screen will appear and you can then add information on the item.

If you need any help, press the F1 key and context sensitive help will appear.
