Checks not showing on check register

Checks not showing on check register
The last check that shows on my check register was August 11. Same with the reconciliation report. Yet all the checks since then (89 of them) show up in Maintain Computer Generated Checks or Maintain Manual Checks. Contributions are current. We tried reindexing but no change. Any ideas of how I can get those checks to show up in the regisyter, the journal and the reconciliation? Thank you.

It sounds like they did not get posted. Make sure when you post them that they get posted to the correct months. August checks to August, September checks to September etc. They will first need to be posted to Accounts Payable then to Fund Accounting.

Thank you very much, Tom. That was the answer. What I'm still confused about is the fact that I've never done that before - posting in accounts payable first - and from January through July 10, they appeared in fund accounting. But now I know to run that posting in accounts payable each time I do checks.

That is very interesting because I know of no way to get those transaction to Fund Accounting without manually posting them in Accounts Payable.
