Is there a way to add information into the description line of a check once it has been posted?

Unfortunately no, however, if you bring up the check in the View Posted Transactions module, and select the Details tab, you can enter information in the Transaction Notes.

This will work in V10 and V11, more than likely also in v9, but I cannot verify that here.

That's cool. I did not know you could do that, always something new to learn, and it does work in V9 as well.
