I have an account I would like to rename. Powerchuch was set up by someone else. I have no idea where to start

I'm going to assume that you're in Funds Accounting. You would go into the Maintain Chart of Accounts module, locate the account you want to rename, then change the DESCRIPTION to what you want, then click on the Save button.
