We are back entering payroll info from the beginning of the year. Our payrolls are direct deposit so there were no checks written.
I was going to wok on this from a laptop and just get all the payrolls entered and then later print pay stubs from my desktop machine. but it looks as if you only have the chance to print pay stubs as you are processing that particular payroll. I can not find anything under reports that looks like the pay stubs.
Is this correct? Can you not print pay stubs after the fact?

You should be processing payroll each pay period.

When you go through the "process payroll" screens in version 11, the very last screen (the fifth one, I think), allows you to select a computer generated check, direct deposit or a manual check. Select direct deposit and process your payroll as normal.

I understood how to do the payroll and did use direct deposit. The problem is that if you don't print a pay stub right then, it doesn't seem like you have any other chance. I would have thought that it would be a report that you could run at any time.
So I have to wait until I am actually sitting at my desktop with a printer attached before I could run the payrolls.
I did see other payroll reports that I could run but nothing that looks like the pay stub that you give to the employees each pay period.

The only thing I see is the Selected Payroll Data report sorted by employee. It doesn't offer the choice to have a page break after each employee, but you could probably make it work.
