Please help us correct an error in our system. We made a group acct. for DVD's and Videos and posted money to it. We then deleted the group acct. before transferring the money to the new detail acct.
NOW, we can close the months or figure out how to move the money from that group acct.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Is the Group Account an income account ?? I may be mistaken, but I'm fairly sure that all you can do with a group account is add a budget amount to it, you can't transfer income or expense money to or from it.

In addition: what version of Powerchurch are you using?

A quick hint: the Powerchurch forums are divided up by program functionality. This question may be overlooked here, as it is an Accounting question, and you posted in the forum for questions about forum use.

Admins: it may be a good idea to move this over to Accounting !!

Thank you so much for the response, I'll go to Accounting and post again. We're using PC version 11. It was is in Income as a group acct. and has 3 months income credited to it.
It has been a while since logged on and it has really improved.
