Review Prior Year Transactions
I need to be able to see exactly what deposits were made to a deposit account in a prior year. The account is an asset account and shows on the Balance Sheet.

In PowerChurch, once you have closed your Fund Accounting year, the only thing left from that year in Fund Accounting is the transactions that were left unreconciled at year end. The only way to view what you are talking about is to restore a backup from before closing the year.
If you would like to do that and not affect your current data, you could install another complety seperate installation of PowerChurch, either in another folder or on another computer, and restore your data there.
For further assistance feel free to call our technical support office at (800)486-1800.

Viewing prior year data
This is something that needs to be fixed in a future version! It's not realistic to have 3 different installations of Powerchurch on different computers so that I can look up past information to general reports! Viewing historical data is pretty important...

This is a planned feature of PowerChurch version 9. Of course, it will only store data moving forward (ie, you won't suddenly have access to 2002 data when you install version 9). Hard drive capacities were limitations in the past, but that's really not an issue anymore.
PowerChurch version 9 is scheduled for release in late Spring/early Summer of 2004.
