Reversing a release from restricted fund?

I don't think I've had to do this before. I entered an expense that was covered by money in a restricted fund. Later, there was a return on the purchase. What do I do to have that money go back into the restricted fund. If I use the "release" button when I am entering the transaction that credits the money back into checking, will it know to do it in reverse?

You would actually have to enter a negative amount to release if you were wanting to "unrelease" money.
