Creating year end tax contribution reports

Post by jsampsonusa »

I need to know how in Ver 11 to generate the tax statement for my members who have contributed over $250 USD in the year 2010. I find the individual statement but I do not want have to do one statement at a time. I want to be able to enter the full range of my envelopes and then have the software print the indiviual statements ready to mail out. Please advise.

Thank you,

The first option under Contribution-Reports is "All Contribution Statements". That will print a statement for each person that meets your selection criteria. You can either print all the statements or it gives you the option to email statements that have an email address in Power Church and print all the ones that don't have an email. This saves some postage and it attaches the contribution statement to the email as a PDF document.

One of the options in the All Contribution Statements report is to limit the printing to either all those who have given over an amount, or those who gave a one time amount over a limit you enter.

So you can say: "Print statements for persons who have given more than $250 or a one-time over $250".
And you'll only see statements printed for people equal to or over that limit.

FWIW ... this is more a Contributions question than an Accounting question ;)
