It's the end of the month and the PowerChurch Online servers are down. I'm trying to figure out the smoothest way to get employees their pay in a way that will allow me to get the correct information into PowerChurch when things are back to normal.
For salaried employees, whose paycheck amount doesn't vary (same deductions/reductions every month), writing a check by hand and later, when running payroll, just printing on plain paper looks like a reasonable approach.
For hourly employees it's harder to predict the correct amount of the check. Does anyone have any suggestions?
(For non-payroll payments, hand-written checks that are later entered as manual checks should be fine, I think.)

It wouldn't be easy, as you would need to be able to figure out the taxes, etc.Carl wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 12:11 pmIt's the end of the month and the PowerChurch Online servers are down. My suggestion is to go by their last paycheck based on the number of hours worked. If you had someone who is scheduled for 40 hours a week, and they clocked 40 hours, use that as the check amount.
These should all be manually written, and then when you run payroll, choose the manual check option at the end of processing.

Thanks, Neil. That was my plan, but thankfully, it was not necessary because PowerChurch Online was, amazingly, back up yesterday. Thoughts and prayers for all in Asheville.
