I have a check that is printed and recorded in the posted transaction but is not shown on the Activity Report or when I go to reconcile it is not showing up there also.

Verify the accounts that are used in the debits and credits in the transactions. It sounds like the check as it was entered doesn't use the accounts you are looking at on the Account Activity or Reconcile Bank Accounts screen.
