Correct payroll information

Post by northsidebc »

For the first 2 weeks in 2011, Social Security was calculated incorrectly. (6.2% vs 4.2%) The extra amount was refunded to employees as a reimbursement. However, my W2s are incorrect. How can I change the amounts on W2s so they will be correct next January?

The next paycheck, adjust the withholding by the extra amount withheld before printing .
