I recently discovered that moneys were recieved and posted to our missions fund account that should have went to a missons passthrough fund, there were several posts. I want to move the money from one fund to the other, from one checking to the other and from one income account to the other. How do I do this and credit and debit the appropriate fund, checking and income accounts? Thaks for your help.

One way is to go to Fund Accounting / View Posted Transactions and locate each transaction and REVERSE it with the REVERSE button, post the reversals, then make the correct transactions.

Without knowing the specific transactions, it is hard to give you specifics.

Lets say I just want o move the total amount 1000.00
WOULD THIS WORK

CR 03 MISSION CHECKING 1000.00
DB 03 MISSION TRAN 1000.00
DB 33 MISSION PASSTHR 1000.00
CR 33 MISSION TRAN 1000.00

DB 03 MISSION INCOME 1000.00
CR 03 MISSION TRAN 1000.00
CR 33 MISS PASSTHRU INC 1000.00
DB 33 MISS PASSTHRU TRAN 1000.00

--->CR 03 MISSION CHECKING 1000.00
.......DB 03 MISSION TRAN 1000.00
.......DB 33 MISSION PASSTHR 1000.00
.......CR 33 MISSION TRAN 1000.00

--->DB 03 MISSION INCOME 1000.00
.......CR 03 MISSION TRAN 1000.00
.......CR 33 MISS PASSTHRU INC 1000.00
.......DB 33 MISS PASSTHRU TRAN 1000.00

The first line of each group make up a REVERSAL transaciton:
CR 03 MISSION CHECKING 1000.00
DB 03 MISSION INCOME 1000.00

Then, you don't need the second line.

The third line of each group is the CORRECT transaction:
DB 33 MISSION PASSTHR 1000.00
CR 33 MISS PASSTHRU INC 1000.00

and you don't need the forth line.
