When doing payroll, employee SSI and employer SSI both show 4.2%. How do I get employer's to show 6.2 ?
Thank you Ron

If you have them setup in Payroll / Setup / Maintain Tax Type, then you can change them in:

Payroll / Setup / Maintain Tax Tables and locate that Tax Type

For SSI, you need TWO separate payroll SSI tax items. One for the Employee at 4.2%, and one for the Employer at 6.2%. Then you need to add both payroll tax items to each employee you withhold SSI for.

I'm guessing that you are using ONE Social Security tax table. You'll need to change that to read just Employee Tax Table, then create one for the Employer as shown at the bottom of this Knowledgebase article:

https://www.powerchurch.com/support/kb. ... 143&type=1

You'll then need to add the Employer Tax Item to the Employee's list of payroll items.
