Semimonthly payroll date

Semimonthly payroll date
I have both monthly and semimonthly employees. When I go in to process payroll and select Semimonthly, the system changes the period ending date to 2012 instead of 2011. How do I permanently correct this instead of having to manually change the date back to 2011 each time?

Where are you changing the date? In the payroll period from fields or the check date field? Once the dates in the payroll period are set and you process a payroll the dates should set for the next period automatically. Make sure you are on the latest maintenance release. The release date should be 9/21/2011.
