Is there an IRS compliant W2 fill-in form available that can be given to employees? Many employers generate a one page document that contains all the copies needed by their employees to file their taxes. Is this option available through the new PowerChurch electronic filing service or is the purchase of the mailing service required? Thanks!

Yes, they are available from this company: http://tinyurl.com/7ugb5jc. Also, there are other companies that offer laser print forms. The packets include the W2 forms, as well as the W3 forms. Powerchurch will print both from the payroll module.

As far as the electronic filing service, they will do the upload of the W3 and W2 forms to the IRS, but you can either print of the W2 locally using the laser printer forms, or pay to have them mailed.

I must not have been clear about what I was looking for. I am looking for something like a fill-in PDF form. One that is not pre-printed but can be filled in and printed from the computer similar to the 941 form in PowerChurch. Thanks again for all your help!!

The W-2's which are mailed, if you choose the option when electronic filing, are a single 4up pressure seal form.

As NeilZ stated, You can print the forms out, as well as file electronically.
