Budget Entry
Using the "Budget Entry" in Fund Accounting, there are two subtotals below the General Fund Contrib. budget amount. Are these the subtotals that should be at the bottom of the Budget Entry screen/report? Where are these subtotals on the Budget Entry getting the amounts from. The amounts that show in the January column and the Annual column are incorrect, one is $2.00 too much and the other is $41.00 too much. Is this a rounding issue, a formula issue for the rows, or a formula issue for the January and Annual columns? Thanks for the help!

As far as the subtotals, are you talking about the Budget report showing these subtotals?

Re: Budget Entry
Version 11.5. The amounts are correct in the "Reports" in Fund Accounting but the incorrect amounts appear and print from the "Budget Entry".

Re: Budget Entry
A couple of thoughts.
One is to check your Detail Level for each account that is incorrectly subtotaling in the Chart of Accounts.
The other is to run this Income and Expense report, where I described in another post on how to use it as a Budget report:

Re: Budget Entry
The Income and Expense report is correct. The amounts and subtotaling for the accounts is also correct. It seems the only place this discrepency appears is in the Fund Accounting - Budget - Budget Entry.

Re: Budget Entry
I think I know.
Unless you have "Budget by the Group" on your Group accounts, this screen doesn't show them. This "report" is not in the REPORT section, it's a snapshot of your budget entries. I'm thinking it has something to do with your non-budgeted GROUPs.

Re: Budget Entry
Perhaps this is one for the developers. I still believe it is a formula or rounding issue. Because my "Reports" are correct, the "Budget Entry" report is nice to have but not imperitive. Thanks for you help.
Re: Budget Entry
FWIW ... I've not seen another issue like what you're seeing come across the forum. If you're sure that everything is setup properly as John suggested, you may want to call or email the support staff directly.
