How to Amend a posted contribution to a pledge

Hello,

I discovered that a contribution that was posted in previous month should have been applied to a pledge. How do I change a contribution that has been posted to apply to a pledge? I also looked in the pledge screen and in the detail table but it doen't allow me to manually add it or look up previous contributions from prior months.

Likewise, is there a way to remove a contribution from the pledge after it was posted in prior month?

On the View Posted Contributions screen, use the Find or Locate button to bring up the contributor in question, then select that contribution and click "Change Pledge". On the window that opens, uncheck "Do not apply this contribution to a pledge" and choose the pledge that you want to apply it to.

For something that was originally applied to a pledge that you want to unapply, follow that same process - select the contribution, click Change Pledge, and this time check the "Do not apply this contribution to a pledge" option.
