The church first started using PC version 8 and the official receipt for income tax " the church officer name " appears on these receipts.
The backup files from version 8 has been transferred to PC version 9 and I would like to know step by step instructions on how to change the name of the officer from being printed in the Income Tax receipt as this individual is no longer with the church.
Thanks

I'm hoping that you upgraded from Version 8 to Version 9, as the backup from 8 will not work properly with version 9.oztheguitarman wrote:1st July, 08

As to your question, when you get ready to print the Individual Contribution Statements from the Contributions Reports, you should be getting the dialog that asks info such as type of report (full, summary, etc), then as you click on the NEXT button, you should then get the selection criterea, then any message you want to print, then right after that you should get the screen that asks for the Tax Info (IE: Church Registration number, and the Church Officer), this is where you can change the data.
FWIW ... this dialog will appear if you select the ALL CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS or INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTION STATEMENT reports.
This dialog will ONLY appear if you have your system setup for use in Canada. US users will not see this dialog, nor will anything about a tax receipt print on the statements.
Hope this helps.
