Paperless Payments Questions

Post by Kristi »

We are considering using Paperless Payments.
I have 3 questions:

1. When the information is downloaded into PowerChurch...what does that mean? Is it downloaded into Contributions and all I have to do is post it?
2. How are credit card payments online, on website done? Is that information downloaded into PowerChurch also or do I have to go my bank online and print off all contributions there?
3. Has anyone had any Year-End problems?

Thank You~Kristi

From what I remember:

1. You download the transaction created by Paperless Payments into powerchurch and the proper envelope is credited. The transaction is then handled like any Contribution transaction when posted to Accounting.

2. This article can answer part of the question:
http://www.powerchurch.com/support/answ ... icle_id=61. My answer #1 takes care of the other part.

3. If you're talking about transactions done on Dec 31st, but the money not making it to the bank until after the new year, I've not seen any come across the forums.

Hope this helps.
