Hello, I am hoping you can help me with something.
Our Financial Secretary recently printed contribution statements. As I put stamps on the statements, I saw the name of a member who had passed away on one of the statements. (He passed away last year - the statement should only have showed the surviving spouse.)
I had marked the individual as deceased but didn't realize I needed to do anything else. This member does not show up if I print a directory, but I do not have access to the contribution module, so I was not aware of any steps I missed.
I've since deleted the envelope number from the deceased member's profile. I trust that will keep his name from appearing on a contribution statement again. Is that correct? Is there anything else I need to do?
Thanks!

Re: Contribution Report Shows Deceased Member
Just had to do the same thing with one of my statements and removing the envelope number form the deceased member's profile will remove that name for the statement.

I trust that the number was also on the surviving spouse's personal profile ?? If so, you're good to go.
