I had a member change their name without informing me and I created a new entry and envelope number for her. She now has contributions under both names. How do I go about switching the contributions to one envelope number only.

It will, if you follow the steps exactly (I'm assuming that the new name is due to a change in marital status):

1. In the Membership Module, using the Integrated Data Entry function, move the old Personal Profile record to under the new Mailing List record.
2 Delete the old Mailing List record.
3. Using the Reassign an Envelope Number function under the Contributions module. Reassign the old envelope number (on the old Personal Profile) to the new number. This will transfer all the data under the old number to the new.
4. Delete the old Personal Profile.
