Good Morning:
I am just setting up this program. I have put in the whole year of contributions for 2011. I made an envelope for loose cash. But the money did not go into the general fund it posted to different account. can I go in and delete all of these contributions. and start over?

No need to delete what you've already entered.

However, I'm going to have to assume a few things:

1. That you have the Contributions Funds setup correctly - that is, you have the checking account and the income account entered correctly in the Fund setup. These account numbers are pulled from the Funds Accounting module, this is the only connection from the Funds Accounting module to the Contributions module.

When you post Contributions, the option you should be using is the Update Funds Accounting this posts the Contributions within the Contributions module, but also creates transactions in the unposted transactions queue of Funds Accounting.

2. Now when you speak of the 'General Fund' are you talking about the fund in Accounting ?? If so, have you posted the unposted transactions in Funds Accounting? If not, you may find the deposit transactions from Contributions still sitting there.

3. If you were not Posting Contributions using the Update Funds Accounting then you may need to create the deposit transaction manually in Funds Accounting.
