Contribution Transaction Did Not Post

Has anyone experience where contribution transactions did not post? I have print out of a unposted contributions, however, I believe I posted them because I have no unposted transactions. Yet, they are not posted to any of the members accounts?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as to where these transactions might have gone.

Verify the date of the contributions on the report.

I have had that happen. They are in the Contributions module and entered on the check register. I discovered when printing Contribution statements and re-posted them in Contributions only, since they were on the check register. Total mystery because they were random.

Gladys, in your case, I suspect a backup done before those contributions were entered was done on the Membership & Contributions files, and not Accounting.

That would cause this type of issue.
