Reassign Contribution Funds Error

Post by tena20719 »

Hi,

I am in the process of rearranging my contribution fund numbers. On a few of my contribution funds I am getting the following error:

"The fund you are attempting to change is active in the Online Contributions. Please remove it from your Online Contributions, and try this process again."

I have looked everywhere that I can think of and I can't find any way that my contribution funds are linked to Online Contributions. Everything is currently posted in both the contributions module and in fund accounting.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks so much for your help!

Tena

Do you take Online Contributions ?? Do you track them separately in Funds Accounting ?? I cannot find anything that interfaces with an 'Online Contributions' type of system, other than the text file import.

This sounds like a carry over from the old Paperless Payments days. We will get a bug written up in the program to remove this validation step.

In the meantime, please give us a call at (800) 486-1800 to speak with a technician. They will help you clear out the data file that is causing the validation to fail.
