providing online access to contributions data

we are in the process of providing online statement capabilities to our church members, and was wondering if there is a way we can download contributions data from the contribution module possibly in csv format and load into a database that can be accessed via a web application

Alternatively does power church provide a web service api that we can use to extract this data and use?

There's no direct 'online' statement capability nor any API at this time (not sure what they may offer in the future), but you could use the "Export to Access MDB" function to create an Access database you can then manipulate as you need.

This is available in the version 11 series of PCPlus.
