Contributions missing

We have problems with entering contributions after 40 or so checks. We were told it was a network problem. Was told to move our powerchurch to another computer, which we did. Everything is correct except we are missing all contributions. The only ones showing up are from 1996, the first year of powerchurch for our church. All other years are not showing up anywhere.
I check the "audit" report and it shows we have posted contributions all the way to 12/9/2013.

When you moved PowerChurch to your new computer did you do a backup of the files on your old computer and then restore the backup on your new computer?

No. We have a network backup system, but it only stores the last 2 weeks.
This was moved on 2 December, so the back-up is the same as what I see now...no contributions.

Are you still able to access PowerChurch on the old computer? If so, are the Contribution transactions still all there? If so, make a backup of the Contribution files using the backup utility in PowerChurch on the old computer. Copy the backup file and transfer to the new computer. Then, open up PowerChurch on the new computer and restore the backup.

CAUTION: Restoring the backup on the new computer will overlay the existing data files. If you have not input any new data in PowerChurch on the new computer then you are ok. However, if you have input anything new this data will need to be reinput once you restore the backup.

It was put back on the old computer by the Powerchurch help desk. The contribution data is from 1998 - 2012. Still no 2013 contributions.
