I hope someone can help me.
I am getting 9999.99 for people who have not pledged.
Is there a way to change it to 0.00?
Printing Pledge Satements instead of 0 I get $9999.99

What version of Powerchurch are you using? You shouldn't be getting any statements for people who have not pledged. Are you up to date with the Maintenance Releases?stjohnd wrote:I hope someone can help me.

Version 10
I believe we are up to date.
I have a sneaky feeling that someone actually went in and programmed the 9999.99 number..

The last update for v10/10.4 was 01/09/2012. Version 10/10.4 is no longer being maintained, that said, this is probably not a bug or a programming error, or else it would have been reported years ago. I also looked at all the change lists for the V10 MRs, and none listed any fixes for such an error.stjohnd wrote:Version 10

Based on what you said in another thread on this, this is occurring in the Contributions Statement. I'm not going to assume anything here so I'm going to ask basic questions:
1. You have verified that there are no pledges entered for any of these envelope numbers, right ?
2. You are printed these statements directly from Powerchurch, not exporting them??
3. When you run a Pledge Statement report, do you see the same issue?

Yes,
I have not entered any pledges for them,
I am printing them directly from Power Church
When I run a pledge statement it shows the same $9999.99 number.
I do believe someone went in and programed that number in..

Whatever that is, someone did it locally because that is not something that the program came set up with.stjohnd wrote:Yes,

I've sent a message to the techs to take a look ... you may wind up having to call them directly.stjohnd wrote:I agree,

FWIW ... as I mentioned 10.4 is no longer being maintained, you may want to consider upgrading this year to take advantage of the many improvements made in the system.

What report is this that you are running? Do you get to it through Contributions > Custom Reports, or is it one that is in the list under Contributions > Reports - Contributions?
I have never heard of anything like this... if I understand correctly, you are saying for people that have no pledge, PowerChurch is printing a pledge of $9999.99.
You can reply here if you like, but almost certainly the answer is going to be to give us a call in Technical Support at (800) 486-1800.
