Check Reader

Post by Alaraujo »

We just got our Check Reader, but we're having trouble getting it to work. We have followed the instructions found in 'Help', but to no avail.
We select Check Reader; set the date, the special window comes up. We've tried different variations of scanning first, entering env number first, then scan, only to get 'invalid scan'. Scanning first, before entering env number also gives us a 'invalid scan' message.

Help! :?

Which scanner did you get ? What version of WIndows? Do you have a current driver for the scanner ??
This info would help with some debugging.

Did you follow the instructions here in this Knowledgebase Article?

If so, did you try this:

Neil Zampella

Using PC+ since 1999.

We have the Magtek check reader.
We are running Windows 7, and using Powerchurch Online.
I don't know if we do have the current driver for the scanner.

Thanks for the instruction sheet. I'll give that a try.
