I recently downloaded Version 7 on my home computer in order to record contributions at my leisure. Up until today it has been a very easy and quick task. I was entering all of one fund at one time. For the first contributor of that fund, I would enter the offering envelope number, then the fund number, and then the amount. Then I would click Save, hit the Tab key (which would cause the prior envelope number to disappear), followed by the new envelope number. I would tab past the fund number (since the fund remained the same), enter the new contribution amount, and repeat. I had a real rhythm going.
Today when I click in the boxes to enter information, the prior information remains. So, for example, I first have to delete the prior offering envelope number (even if it is zero), enter the new one, tab past the fund number, delete the zero in the amount box, and then enter the new contribution amount. I don't recall changing any setting for the computer since yesterday. Does anyone have any idea what might have happened overnight? What was a quick task is now taking forever.
I have a two-year old Dell running WinXP. Thanks for any thoughts.
